CLEVELAND, OH – Horsburgh & Scott, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of custom-engineered gearing solutions, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Antonio Valencia to the position of Regional Sales Manager, with responsibility for Mexico and the Latin America (LATAM) region.

Antonio, born in Tucson, Arizona, and raised in Sonora, Mexico, holds a Mining Engineering degree from the University of Guanajuato. His career spans over 15 years in the Open Pit and Underground Mining Industry across the USA and Mexico, where he held significant positions such as Production General Manager and Production Superintendent. Additionally, Antonio has six years of experience in the Tunnel Boring Industry, with projects in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Antonio joined Horsburgh & Scott in 2023, where he diligently prepared for his entry into the marketplace by working in Main Plant/Field Service and gaining a comprehensive overview of all departments. This experience has enriched his understanding of Custom Gearing Solutions, making him an invaluable asset to our team.
